Ola Electric has launched its Gig and S1 Z scooter ranges. The aim is to unleash the full potential of electric transportation for the masses.

The new scooter range includes Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, and Ola Z+. These are available for an introductory price of Rs 39999 (ex-showroom), Rs 49999 (ex-showroom), Rs 59999 (ex-showroom), or Rs 64999 (ex-showroom).

The Gig Z and S1 Z reservations are now open, starting at Rs 499. The new scooter range offers reliable, flexible, and affordable solutions, including removable batteries. It is suitable for personal and commercial uses by rural, semi-urban, and urban customers.

Ola Electric, with its new product range and existing portfolio, aims to revolutionize access to EVs by offering a variety of affordable options across all categories. This will cater to a diverse range of customers.

Delivery of the Ola Gig series and Ola S1 Z will start in April and May, respectively.

Ola Gig Electric Scooter

The Ola Gig is designed to meet the needs of gig workers who are involved in shorter trips. It offers a robust, durable design, a sufficient range, a removable battery, a payload capacity that is adequate, and reliable safety.

The scooter has a range of 112 kilometers, which is IDC certified. It also offers a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The scooter comes with a removable 1.5 kWh battery and a hub-motor, as well as 12″ tires that provide superior braking. The Ola Gig is available to B2B buyers and renters at an introductory price of Rs 39,999.

Ola Gig+

The Ola Gig+ is designed for gig workers who have to travel long distances and carry heavier loads. It has a top speed of 45 km/h, a single or dual battery removable of 1.5 kWh, and an IDC-certified range of 81 km (157 km x 2).

The scooter’s hub motor has a maximum output of 1.5 kW. The scooter allows gig workers to maximize their earnings by completing orders faster and maintaining optimal city speeds. The Ola Gig+ is available to B2B buyers and renters at an introductory price of Rs 49,999.

Ola Z Electric Scooter

The S1 Z electric scooter is designed for urban commuters who value performance, style, and convenience. It is easy to handle and agile. This makes it ideal for smooth, urban roads.

The scooter has removable dual batteries with 1.5 kWh capacity each. Its range is 75 km, which is IDC certified (146 km x 2), and it comes with an LCD and a physical lock.

It can go from 0-20 km/h in just 1.8 seconds to 0-40 km/h in 4.8. Ola Electric aims with the S1 Z to provide an alternative value proposition for entry-level ICEs, keeping in mind young professionals, students and women. The Ola S1 Z costs Rs59,999.

Ola S1Z+

The Ola S1Z+ is a dual-purpose electric scooter that can be used for personal or light commercial purposes. It has a sturdy body, a high payload and a variety of storage options.

The scooter has been designed for small business owners, shopkeepers and people involved in light-to-medium commercial activities. It is rugged, durable and offers a long range.

The S1 Z+ is equipped with removable dual batteries, each of 1.5 kWh, with an IDC-certified range of 75 km (146 km x 2), and features a top speed up to 70 kmph. It also has a 14″ tire, LCD display and physical key.

Ola PowerPod

The PowerPod is a 500W battery with a maximum power output. It has a 1.5kWh capacity that can last 3 hours and run 5 LED lights, 3 ceiling fans, 1 TV, one mobile charging station, and a Wi-Fi router. The dual functionality of this battery is a great option for users who live in semi-urban or rural areas, where access to stable electricity may be limited. Ola Electric offers a wide range of S1 scooters at attractive prices, including the Ola Gig Z and Ola S1 Z Range.

The S1 Pro and S1 Air premium models are priced at 1,34,999 Rs and 1,07,499 Rs, respectively. However, mass-market products include the S1X portfolio (2 kWh), 3 kWh, and 4 kWh, priced at Rs74.999, Rs87.999, and R101.999, respectively.

The company has also launched its Roadster series of motorcycles, which includes the Roadster X (2,5 kWh), Roadster 3.5 kWh (4.5 kWh), Roadster (6 kWh) and Roadster Pro (16 kWh).
